ART Inc provides arts education opportunities to nearly 500 students and teaching artists each year. The staff, board, volunteers, and teaching artists of ART Inc work tirelessly to generate programs for all students to imagine, create, and realize their full potential through the arts, regardless of their ability to pay.Job Description:The Finance and Grants Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and grant compliance of our organization. Whether part-time or full-time, this role encompasses financial strategy, operational management, and grant administration. Candidates applying for the full-time role will be responsible for additional strategic oversight and leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities(Responsibilities apply to both part-time and full-time candidates, with time allocation depending on the chosen structure)

• Financial Oversight: Manage cash flow, oversee financial records, and prepare periodic financial reports.
• Grant Administration: Act as the primary lead on grant management, from applications and compliance to reporting.
• Budget Management: Develop and monitor organizational and grant-specific budgets in alignment with goals.
• Strategic Leadership: Contribute to long-term financial strategy in collaboration with leadership. Time allocated to long-term planning increases for full-time candidates.
• Compliance: Maintain adherence to nonprofit funding regulations and grant guidelines.
• Audit and Tax Assistance: Provide support for annual audits and tax filings with external accountants.Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (advanced degrees a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years (part-time) or 5 years (full-time) of nonprofit financial and grant experience.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit financial regulations and restricted funds management.
• Competence in financial tools such as QuickBooks and funder portals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.What We Offer
