Industrial Engineering position focuses on optimizing the
interconnected components of a manufacturing system (e.g.,
personnel workflow/ergonomics, materials logistics, production
process sequence, and equipment layouts, etc.).An Industrial
Engineering Co-op position applies broad theoretical job knowledge
typically obtained through advanced education and must be able to
explain facts, policies and practices related to the job
area.ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Engineering co-ops typically:Work
on problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or
processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level
professionalsEstablish methods of maximum utilization of production
facilities and personnelConduct cost/inventory/production control
and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for
facility modifications and revisions to operating methodsAssist
manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and
designYou will also get to:Apply interpersonal and communication
skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common
goalsWork in a hands-on environment with cross functional
teamsUtilize project management skills to develop, manage, and
control scope, schedule and costWe are looking for students who

be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or another
applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited
universityTo be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at
least 3.0Completed course work in Computer Aided Design
(CAD)/AutoCADTo be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month
minimum co-op assignmentNo other work experience is required. We
