      • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations.
      • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
      • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
      • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
      • Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
      • Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications.
      • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.Skills:
        • Advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology techniques and procedures.

        • Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.Minimum Education Requirements:
          • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
          • Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
          • Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in interventional cardiology.License & Certifications:
            • Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
            • Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology.
            • Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.Experience:
              • While specific requirements may vary, most locum interventional cardiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.Additional Notes:
