Cardiology Physician Jobs:This is a generalized description of
locum interventional cardiologist job requirements. Specific

performed.General Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular
procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and
catheterizations.
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients
with cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and
implement patient care plans.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting
care plans as needed.
- Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and
complications.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology techniques and
procedures.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills, particularly in
high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in cardiology-specific medical equipment and
technology.
- Ability to handle complex and often urgent medical
situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different
medical teams.Minimum Education Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by
the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or
the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in
interventional cardiology.License & Certifications:
- Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of
Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association
(AOA).
- Additional board certification or fellowship completion in
interventional cardiology.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.Experience:
- While specific requirements may vary, most locum interventional
cardiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of
