Overview: Infection Control & Staff Development NurseFranciscan
Village, Lemont, ILM-F ExemptDuties and Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining the Community
and nursing service philosophies, through quality nursingAssociate
audits/inservice of educational resurcesMaintain Infection Control
protocls and proceduresAdminister medication and treatment,
complete documentation for residents in their care, in accordance
with federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and
departmental policies and proceduresMaintain IDPH,CDC, and Cook
Guidelines accordinglyAttend a minimum of 12 annual hours of
in-service educationBe apart of on call rotation ( 1 every 5/6
weeks)Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each
resident and their family -Required skills and qualifications:
Graduate from accredited school of
nursing , BSN preferred3-5 year experience minimuum with Infection
ControlTwo years of clinical experience preferred, but not
requiredCurrent nursing license for the state of IllinoisCPR
certifiedMust enjoy working with the senior populationEmployee
