• Employee perks - CoxHealth Fitness Center and Child Care discounts, Onsite delivery for CoxHealth Pharmacies and 1906 Employee Store, 20% tuition discount on most classes at Cox College, Cafeteria discountThe eAcute Virtual Med-Surg nurse is a pivotal member of the healthcare team to assist with managing adult or geriatric patients with general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.The virtual nurse will assist with tasks such as completing the admission and discharge process, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care.The virtual eAcute nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance.The eAcute Virtual Med-Surg nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.Requirements include:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of two years previous nursing experience on an inpatient nursing unit
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Charge nurse or preceptor experience, and specialty nursing certificationAdditional requirements include:
