Overview
Job Specifics:
- Dynamic Rheumatology practice expanding and seeking an
additional BC/BE physician to join the practice.
- Two Rheumatologists support the practice.
- Four specially trained rheumatology APNs provide expert care in
fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal medicine, and stable immunologic
patients allowing Rheumatology Physicians to focus on immunologic
care.
- APNs triage new patients to align them with the appropriate
level of care (APN or MD)
- APN-managed fibromyalgia clinic to provide expert-level
care
- Onsite behaviorist, polarized microscope, lab, and
pharmacy
- Dedicated support staff to manage: Scheduling, Referrals, Prior
Authorizations, Specialty Pharmacy needs
- Beautiful office l ocated near OSF Saint Francis Medical
Center, OSF Innovation Jump Simulation & Education Center, the new
OSF Cancer Center, and downtown Peoria.
- Incoming physician has the opportunity for regional outreach
work.
- Teaching with academic appointment and research opportunity
through University of Illinois Peoria, though not a formal

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate
specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and
appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and
other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's
programs for professional malpractice and other liability
coverage.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the
State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide
patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the
