mejor.Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implements software to run optimally on SoC devices and
SBCs.
- Analyzes product requirements and contributes to engineering
tradeoff decisions.
- Tests and adapts industrial sensing devices and protocols to
standard interfaces of a proprietary IIoT platform.
- Tests, documents, debugs and maintains stable firmware.
- Works with product and app dev teams to meet business
requirements.
- Analyzes and defines requirements to determine specifications,
standards, and tests solutions.
- Trains users and writes training manuals.
- Manages user support and feedback.
- Troubleshoots and resolves software defects and issues.
- Participates in system integration and testing activities.
- Maintains documentation for software design, implementation,
and user guides.
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
to ensure the continuous improvement of our products.Knowledge,
Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies: Essential KSAs:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of relevant
experience.
- Knowledge of firmware development, wireless networks, messaging
protocols, hardware interfaces, interface protocols and signal
processing.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational,
communication, and interpersonal skills.Desirable KSAs:
- Knowledge of basic electronics / micro-electronics, PCB
design.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages.
- Prior experience working with embedded software.Competencies:

performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel;
reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.

verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and
computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional
use of other office equipment. - The employee must occasionally
lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. - The employee is
occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and
color vision. - Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy
