• Shift: 4x10 Days (0615-1645)
• Average Daily Census: 10. 4 Rooms.
• Years of experience REQ: Minimum 5 years' experience required.
• First-timers accepted: Yes.
• Weekend REQ: Yes- on call every third weekend.
• Certs REQ: BLS required.
• Is on-call REQ? Yes- once or twice a week with every 3rd weekend
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to Main OR or Baylis day surgery as needed.
• Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
• Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
• License not required for this role.
• RTO Restrictions: Discuss time off requests with manager.
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
• Special Requirements: Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.
• Required Work Setting Experience: CVOR, General OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma.
• Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
• Required Vascular Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortobifemoral bypass, Aortoenteric fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Vein Stripping.
• Required Endoscopic Procedure Skills/Experience: Bronchoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases.
• Required General Surgery Skills/Experience: Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Whipple.
• Required Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases, Lung resection- Thoracotomy, Mediastinoscopy, VASTS.
• Required Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries).
• Fire Safety skills/experience required.
• Required Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Skills/Experience: Case Cart, Electrosurgical units.
• Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure.
