  • General Job Duties: Functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to provide professional nursing care services to patients admitted, transferred, and discharged from OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
  • Equipment utilized: Epic electronic medical record.
  • Required skills: General medical Level of Care experience preferred, 2 years Med/surg experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current State license as a Registered Nurse required (RN IL license).
    • BLS (American Heart) certification required.
    • Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • No Call.
      • Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift).
      • Every other Holiday (specific holidays listed).
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit is currently a 13 Bed unit, with plans to expand to an additional 10 beds.
        • Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5; 25/7.
