Job Description:
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides
rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal
cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other
challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings,
we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy
programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants,
children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Behavioral Registered Technician - Fulltime 2nd shift (Noon -
8pm)

- Ensure that individuals' treatment plans are consistently
implemented by following the treatment plan goals and
interventions, building and maintaining a therapeutic relationship
with those served, utilizing sound judgment, and seeking out
appropriate consultation. -
- Collaborate with family and treatment team members; educate
parents/guardians on reinforcement and intervention information
when requested. -
- Utilize appropriate interactional style and maintain dignity
and respect towards those served. -
- Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in
order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction,
and problem-solving skills. -
- Fade prompts appropriately to promote successful independent
responding. -
- Increase the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate
replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers.

- Review participant progress objectively using behavior analytic
methods, identify solutions to barriers, and make recommendations
to the supervisor and behavior analyst when needed. -
- Accurately collect behavioral data as defined in the RBT
program as needed. -
- Complete all clinical and residential documentation in a timely
and accurate manner. -
- Review daily updates such as new programs, access level
changes, scheduled sessions, etc. -
- Ensure proper implementation and retraining as needed by
routinely communicating with staff. -
- Schedule and prepare for leisure activities to keep
participants engaged and active when therapy sessions are not
taking place. -
- Participate in training and refreshers from clinical staff on
the implementation of program updates to ensure that rehabilitative
objectives are achieved. -
- Attend clinical meetings such as access review meetings,
clinical team meetings, progress conferences, etc. as assigned.

- Provide up-to-date residential status of participants and
identify problem areas affecting the participant; implement
solutions as recommended by the clinical team. -
- Understand and ensure adherence to company policies and
procedures while maintaining compliance with relevant external
regulatory guidelines. -
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. -
- RBT Credential required - -
- Two years of completed college coursework in psychology,
education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or
related field preferred. -
- Two years of experience working with individuals with Traumatic
Brain Injury or other individuals with developmental behavior
challenges who engage in severe problem behaviors preferred.

- Current CPR/First Aid certification as required by state.

- Current driver's license in good standing, car registration,
and auto insurance if providing transportation for individual
receiving services.
- Professional, with the ability to maintain composure and
exercise sound judgment and discretion. -
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish
trust and rapport quickly. -
- A good listener with an ability to empathize while still
providing guidance. -
